We will have a survey every month for a chance for your child to win something (book, treat, treasure box, etc). The survey may ask questions from information in our monthly newsletters or from what we post on the blog. The survey also may just ask you to leave a comment. You never know when the survey will happen so make sure you are checking the blog regularly.
For our first survey, we are wondering how your little one feels about starting kindergarten. Is your child nervous, scared, sad, happy, or excited? We are super excited and ready to meet all of you.
Leave a comment and you will win a BOOK for your little one. Directions for how to leave a comment are on the right sidebar. It's ok for you to mention the name of your family or tell us the name of your child. Just remember that when we post pictures of students in our class to not post their name with their picture. Michael is excited. Every time we drive by the school he always says that it is his big boy school and when I showed him your photos and said Ms. Hines and Ms. Hawas will be your new teachers he said that his teachers are "cute" lol When my husband dropped by the school and showed him around, he went home telling me that daddy said "I will have new friends and new teachers and it will be okay". I guess I am more nervous than him... Michael's mommy
ReplyDeleteNoah has been excited about "5 school" since his last day of VPK! Then he went to Summer Camp and he's SO excited! We're thrilled you're his teacher. We saw you on our tour before last year ended, and made sure to make a request!
ReplyDeleteSo, it turns out I'M the nervous one! I can't wrap my head around my first baby going to Kindergarten. I'm really excited for him too though.
He is SO smart and witty. He is very active but very gentle too. He is ALL boy! I'm sure you'll really enjoy having him this year. He's affectionate and emotional, but SO happy and loves his friends!
Looking forward to our 'first' year!!!
Our daughter is super excited about Kindergarten. She finished up Pre-K about 2 weeks ago and will be coming to class with stories about the mountains (where she is with her grandparents right now on vacation). She'll be home tomorrow to see her newly rearranged 'kindergarten" room :). Both of your classrooms are awesome and we can tell she is going to just have a fantastic time learning with you both this year! ZB and SD

ReplyDeleteWe are very happy to see that our new students are happy about going to school. It's such a great feeling to hear that Michael knows he will make new friends and like his school. :)
I (Ms. Hawas) actually remember Noah from summer camp. I teach kindergarteners during summer camp. He is such a sweet little boy. :)
ZB and SD, we can't wait to hear all about her adventures in the mountains. Glad we met both of you and you like our classrooms. :)

Gavin is super excited about starting kindergarten...but he is trying not to show it ;) We are looking forwartd to an amazing year! I couldn't be happier with Gavin's teachers!

Miss Hawass Mason is very excited to finally be in your class. After all he has waiting a whole year. He is not scared at all. I think Madason is a little sad. I think she would stay with you forever. Thank you for being a part of my childrens growth, you are awesome. it is going to be a great year.
